BGC#63 - Monochromatic with Aneta

Hello!

It's new day with quite new inspiration for you. Because the weather behind my window doesn't look optimistic (it's rather gloomy), I decided to create very optimistic (and monochromatic!) card. I used two shades of yellow and a little bit of black (sentiment) and white (around the sentiment and white pearls). In this way I made the card full of sunlight. Just look at it!

As you can see, this time I played with different dies. I cut out bigger and smaler elements and combined them. This simple idea gave very interesting results.

If you want to join us and enter your card to this challenge, you have to remember about our rules:

Here is what i made !
As you can see i went with the blue green family of colors !
Teal is one of my fav colors and it always works with the neutrals !

I have been trying to get my hands on one of those feather dies but somehow my local store is always out of stock !! so i just hand cut these ones ! Not a big deal but i am definitely gonna get those feather dies.
They are so in trend at the moment !
I have used some frantage embossing enamel on the feathers to give them that dreamy look.
And added some twine made into a bow with some pearls to finish the look.

For the background i just went with one of the lovely ombre paper from crate paper's  flea market collection.
Over which i did some ink splatter in black and teal (lindy's Stamp gang mists)
So thats about it on how i did this card !
Please do enter this challenge :)

the winner will receive a lovely prize from

BGC#62- Fall Challenge with zubmomi!

Hello Friends!
Its the fall season and the beautiful fall colors are here to give us inspiration to create lovely projects. I really get inspired by the fall colors and have taken them as my inspiration for today’s card.

For this card, I have drawn and colored the girl with pencil colors and pro markers and have paper pieced her dress. The leaves are made of fabric. I have glued them with mod podge and have also applied a thin layer of it to seal them.

The background is created with stamping, inking, misting  and adding torn papers and texture paste through stencils. Finally I have embellished the card with few handmade flowers.

Hope you like my inspiration.
Waiting to see your lovely creations :)
And don't forget
Great prizes sponsored by Lulupu are waiting for the winner!

BGC#62- Fall with PJ

Hello my lovely friends !
Here we are marching into November already ????
So inspired by the lovely Fall season we have our current challenge.
I know there is not much of Fall in India but this time of the year its a beautiful sight all over my side of the globe !
So here is my creation for the theme

My card is inspired from the exploring i did this month in my own city !
You can see the resemblance of the pebbles in the texture i created using prima texture paste - black sand.
Loveeeeeee it ! The new Finnabair line is just so amazing !

I basically created the leaves from cardstock and made them look realistic with some painting and inking on it.

I love giving my elements the lift by using double tape !
I seriously think adding dimentions to your card always creates the much needed Drama :)
Initially i was a bit stuck with the theme but after a nature walk i really got inspired !

Hope i have managed to give you some inspiration today.
Hope to see all your lovely creations soon !
And dont forget
 Sponsors 2014

Our lovely sponsors Lulupu craft lounge will give the winner of this challenge this awesome stamp set from American Crafts!
