Isnt that wonderful ???

Now that its sorted lets take a look at what i made
I decided to do a tall card this time :)
I find the size quite interesting to work with.

I got my first electronic sewing machine for Christmas :) Its amazing how a simple stitch can add so much to your project ! :) You will see me playing a lot more with my machine soon.

Inspiration from the mood board :
I decided to make this card into a wedding themed one because somehow i got the wedding vibe from the mood board.
I took inspiration from the table decoration in terms of colors and the elements .
I went for the white butterflies too , its just an amazing piece of art im sure no one will miss !

 All the flowers are handmade.
I managed to add my stamped elements as layers around which the flower arrangement goes.

I do have some misting in mint underneath the elements.
I also used some fabric element with mesh cloth .

I do hope you like my project and will join us this month

Fabulous creations submitted till now! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels inspired by PJ to  make some lovey dovey creation with spring time florals.
Our latest challenge is to make either a CARD , LAYOUT , ALBUM or a 3D BOX (even altered boxes will do) ~

some sort of TORN element on it (Use torn papers, Foil, or torn fabric etc.)

&

your project must have a floral spray  or a flower arrangement as a focal point of the creation !

And to trigger the creative minds of other crafters who are in a dilemma to join the challenge,I am here with a gorgeous card from my "Inspired by Illustration" series !

Supplies used:

prima flowers and ferns
cardstock
distress ink
mod podge dimensional magic

Caged love !!

Hello bloggers, how you have been doing?
As,we are towards the end of our Feb 2nd half Challenge and just a day more to go...
Fabulous creations all around! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels inspired by the previous DTs posts to go make some lovey dovey creation for loved ones.
My-oh-my did we receive a lot of great submissions for this latest challenge which is to make a craftpiece ~

with 'Love' word in it
&
without any 'red' or 'pink'

You creative bunch never cease to amaze me. Thanks as always for playing along, it makes our day posting this fortnight!

And to trigger the creative minds of other crafters who are in a dilemma to join the challenge,I am here with a Super-jumbo post (a V-day treat gift) to tempt you !

(P.S : Picture heavy post)

Well, since it must be a "NO PINK AND RED" ,I wasn't left with much alternatives and hence selected shades of purple, dark violate, white, black, brown ..

The cage has been painted and coated with mod podge, decorated with an assortment of fabric and prima roses, feathery love bird, with distressed tags and some ferns to multiply its beauty. A pretty handmade notebook and love note jar added on, and a few strokes of gesso here and there, finally made it a perfect V- gift (even without any red or pink :D) ! What do you think?

Please leave your queries, if any, join in our fun challenge !

Also, check out the wonderful submissions by the BGC DT in the one of a kind DT specific challenge hosted by our dear PJ...where you will be our judges and it ends in a day, Sounds fun..right?

Love completes Life! :)

Hello crafters!!

This is Nikita here and I am sharing my project for the current challenge.

Here we are required to create something that has the word "Love" on it, but not the colours red or pink. At this stage, let me make a clarification. The restriction on the usage of red or pink in only on your craft supplies. If you're using an image (like I am, in this layout) and the picture has some red or pink on it, that'll be alright. Just make sure you use papers and embellishments in other colours!

Now that that's cleared up, let me show you what I made. :)

For the base, I have used a 12"x12" sheet from DCWV's Mixed Media Mambi Collection. The top of this sheet had some pattern that was irresistible.. as in I could not stop myself from stitching along the lines. So I ran my Sew Easy tool over it and just did a simple stitch all along the entire top section of the page.

Below that, I added some banners from left-over PPs and made dash lines with a white gel pen.

Along two of the photos, I tied some black and white twine :)

To the left, I added a cut out of an insta-photo from a Dear Lizzy 12x12 sheet and slid it under one of the pictures. I also used Memory Box's Chloe Stem die on a piece of Craft CS and added them on the layout too..

Then, I took a slightly larger sticker from Echo Park's This & That Graceful 12x12 Collection and added it to the bottom of the page.

On the right, I added another insta-photo from the same Dear Lizzy Page that had "Love" written on it. :)
Below that, on a small pre-printed frame, I made the title of the page using stickers from two Echo Park 12x12 Collection Kits..
1. This & That Graceful
and
2. For the Record 2 :)

And here's what the complete page looks like..
The leaves and the birds, the dotted circles are all pre-printed and they sort of decided the colour scheme of the page on their own.. I just had to find matching embellishments! ;)

Here are the products used to make this page...

I hope this inspired you!! We can't wait to see what you came up with!!! Link up here if you haven't already :)

See you all next fortnight with a brand new challenge!

Till then,
Good Luck and Happy Crafting!

Love,
Nikita.. :) :)
