Welcome Design team 2013- term 1

Hello everyone !!!!! 

we are absolutely excited to announce our brand new Design team for the 

first half of 2013.

Snehal does some amazing folds on her cards and is pretty good at baking (from what i gather) 

Her creations are full of color and sunshine , we totally love the way you create snehal ,

We all know Jovita as Creativita , she is bubbly and joyful that surely shows in her creations!

Jovita also runs an online store back in India where in we can find a lot of craft supplies .

Brenda 

from Brenda's Scrap Place

 

Brenda lives in country Victoria, Australia and run a beef cattle and cropping farm. she also drives buses for a local primary school, so with all that and 2 kids & a husband she manages to find some quality time to craft !!! To me that is amazingly shocking !!! 

Brenda does some lovely and descriptive LO's and cards , so glad to have you in our team !

Ebba is studying economy at Blekinge Tekniska, Högskola. She makes some amazing cards and altered projects. Her coloring is amazing and we sure look forward to learn some tips!
Do take a look at her baby carriage and other boxes, she really does a neat job at crafting. Some of her cards are so clean and crisp with neat lines its just a treat to watch !

Hi everyone !

Its been a wonderful year and we enjoyed 

creating inspirations for you all as much as you loved playing !

We hope to continue next year with even better challenges 

and more fun !! 

So its that time of the year when we say good by to our 

Old DT friends as they make way for fresh faces !

So everyone here is your chance to 

join a Celebrated Design Team 

Please follow these simple rules to enter. 

1.You need to have a BLOG or WEBSITE to join this DT CALL 

2. You should have prior card making experience. 

3. Follow Beyond Grey challenges blog, if ur not already a follower. 

4. Post about this DT call on ur blog or website. 

 

5.  Link 3 of your best craft projects or cards on the linky below all three should be different posts.

It can be an old project or a recent one 

but it should either be a card / layout or handmade craft project only. 

6. You need no prior DT experience to enter but if u do have any exp. its great. 

7. The DT tenure is from Feb 1st 2013 to June 30th 2012
This tenure may or may not be extended.  

8. This DT call is open for Indian as well as international applicants.


As a Design Team member you will  : 

1. Get to host your own challenges on the BGC blog. 

2. Get design team experience to add to your resume. 

3. A "DT" badge to flaunt !

4. Share your tips and techniques with readers, on the BGC blog.

Whats up crafty ? - Oh just a cake slice!

Hello everyone
It was wonderful to have u guys enter in the blog hop
 (Sorry for the lil glitch earlier , we sadly had a no show)
But never mind :) we just like to keep going forward  !
So earlier i had posted about how things will change in BGC ?
and by that i meant , more interaction with u all !
Oh yea ! we will have deets posting a tip or a trick or
just simply what they were up to (craft wise :P ) apart from
the challenges.
So every once in a while we will have a post named
"Whats up crafty ?" 
where in the future DT members (in rotation) 
will post details , tutes or tips of any thing they made recently :)

So we bring it all here to u ! :)

So for the start here is the 1st ever
Whats up crafty ? post !!
And i say its a CAKE SLICE BOX !!

So I have this nice little box to share with u guys !
I made like 50 of these for new years :) and gifted them off with chocolates in them !

Well the die used here to make this box was -
Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box w/Lid, Cake Slice

Its pretty quick , just run the die through the machine with your card stock on it 

and then later with your pattern paper .

Best thing about this die is that u can even run Chip boards through it ! 

The flower i have used here is handmade :) 

Simple scrap ribbon from my mom's old sewing days ,

and a pearl on top does the trick.
