Hello... Wonderful crafters
This is Bipasha with you. Aren't you enjoying our challenge already with the gorgeous inspirations shared by the talented DTs?? I have spent a real crafty time this month with new creations and loved going through all the projects added to the Mr. linky for the ongoing challenge....You do mesmerize us every time with your creativity. :)
Now coming onto sharing a little crafty technique for today....
I thought of making a project experimenting the versatile use of our different dies in an innovative way. This project has a very close connection to my heart. I am quite happy with the end results and hopefully you would love the plot too.
Technique recipe:
I used 4 die cuts of Cherry Lynn 's Wedding Vows, cut out of ivory sheets. I cut out the couples from the designed frames, hence we are left with 4 layers of each.
I also, cut out 4 strips of hard card stock which will act as the support ribs for my altar. Yes you hear it right ! We are making an wedding altar :). The strips are folded in halves lengthwise and glued down to build the pretty altar...doesn't it look elegant already?
And here the couple goes layered to create a dimensional effect and stands pretty and high in our beautiful altar.
Next, we cut out two bases: one for the roof and the other for the floor.
So yes its as easy as that and we are done !
I don't believe there is any technique for embellishing or decorating your project because I think each of your hearts will do the job better and in an unique way...
This is how my heart expressed its feeling inspired by the colours of this month's challenge theme...
