And we have two amazing prizes for the Winner
1) Ink Pallet from Ranger
2)HOTP Stamp - Time to Celebrate

So here is what i created !

I made a diaper cake for this theme.
A friend of mine who just had a baby said "Diapers are the best gift for a new born baby"
I really was happy with this statement , it totally means that i picked the right thing :P he he

So this cake (which is non edible) is made with baby diapers all wrapped around a tissue roll holder and then beautified from the outside.

I always like to cover the diapers with design paper because i dont want to expose them to dust and moisture .Ultimately it has to be used by the baby . Although everyone who has ever recived my diaper cake says they will never use it , but just display it in the baby room.

I have my own handmade roses in black and blue there.
I have misted the Blue one with cosmic shimmer mists to give it some more color and sheen.
Also take note of the paper boots on top of the cake. They are again handmade.
I saw a template for the same online last year and i really wanted to try it out. This i think was the right project to use it for.

The name banner is made with scraps of design paper from My minds eye , echo park , crate paper paper pads.

I think this is a fun theme Jovi has picked for us !
Its totally worth the effort !
So join us all with your own ideas i know you all are very creative!

Thanks !

It has an elastic band that holds it together, so the mom can carry it around in her purse or bag and scribble all the beautiful special and magical moments and the experiences in her journey to be a "MOMMY" :).

Hope you like it !

BGC#61-Baby showers with zubmomi!

Hello friends!  Hope you are enjoying the beautiful baby showers inspirations by
our DT members for the current challenge:

BGC#61 - Baby Showers!

Challenge guidelines:

Create a project fit for a baby shower.
It can be a card for the mom to be, Invites, baby shower decor, a baby shower gift wrap, or a gift in itself or a layout about a baby shower!

For my inspiration, I made a baby boy themed keepsake book for a mom-to-be. I have made this using a silhouette cut file.

The patterned papers are from Studio Calico’s ‘baby mine’ collection.

This was a simple but elegant project and I thoroughly enjoyed making it :)

The left side of my book has a pocket and there is plenty of space inside the book to keep precious pictures or treasured memories of the little one.

Hope you like this project.

Please link your projects here.
Take care and Happy Crafting :)

And here is my project!!  I decided to make a mini album for the new parents to be. I have a cousin with a baby girl on the way so I thought this would be a good gift for those first snapshots! I started with 6 1/2 x 10 piece of thick chipboard. I made cuts at 4 1/2 and 5 1/2. I then used my bind it all to put pages on the rings.

Thankyou for looking! Make sure to link up at the original post!!!

BGC#61 - Baby showers Aneta

Hello dear ladies!
Are you ready to share with us your baby shower projects? If you want to play along with us, please remember about our...

Challenge guidelines:
Create a project fit for a baby shower.
It can be a card for the mom to be, Invites, baby shower decor, a baby shower gift wrap, or a gift in itself.Or a layout about a baby shower!

As you can see only sky is the limit! ;-)

I prepared a note for the gift for a mother-to-be. It really small, about 10 cm, but there is enough space inside to write something nice for the mom or both parents-to-be.

I got this fabric flower some time ago and it was waiting for the perfect project. I thought about it immediately, when I started to design my baby shower note. It's do delicate!

I added also three pink paper flowers and light green leaves.

I like the chipboard saying "it's a girl"! It goes perfectly with the fabric flower.

My supplies are: craft paper, white cardstock, pattern paper, green cardstock, chopboaed, fabric flower, paper flowers, pearlmaker, dies.

If you want to join us in this challenge, please enter your project
We have really great prizes for the winner!

I wish you a lot of creativity!

BGC#61 - Baby Showers

Or a layout about a baby shower !

Pretty Simple hah!!!

And we have two amazing prizes for the Winner
1) Ink Pallete from Ranger
2)HOTP Stamp - Time to Celebrate

Now isn't that fantastic????

Now back to the challenge... I have for you today two inspirations ..

Baby showers are a wonderful way to celebrate not only the coming of a new baby but also a celebration of the journey of the mother to be.. A realisation that every person in the family gets a new name.... Husband and wife now become mom and dad...
Mom and Dad (Grandparents) become Nana - Nani and Dada Dadi...

So at every baby shower proud new parents to be and family can flaunt off their new status with these cute badges

These badges would be a great hit at any baby shower..

My second inspiration is a Mini CD Album where I have used old CDs to make an album.

Pages to journal details of the first day and for pictures of the baby and the family .

A Special page for Mom and Dad each... Space is provided for one picture and journalling.

The last two pages are for memories and special things the baby does...

I hope you all enjoy these inspirations and join us in this challenge... It means a lot to us when we see your comments and all the challenge entries...

So have fun!!!

BGC#60-HUMAN CHARACTER STAMPING-zubmomi

Hello my beautiful friends! Welcome to another post for the
BGC#-60 Human Character Stamping challenge!

Challenge Guidelines :

In this challenge we want to see:
1. You play with your Human character stamps which means take out your Tilda's and Edwins , Prima dolls  or bloom girls, saturated canary girls etc. and color them to your hearts content, you get the drill !
NOTE : You can also use digital stamps as long as they are human characters .
2. In this challenge we want to see the Stamped image as the focal point of your project.
3. It can be a card , or a 3d project , boxes or albums. NO LAYOUTS please and if you are making an album we will only judge the COVER not the inside.

Don't forget the yummy goodies to be won from Lulupu

Well here is my take on the challenge. I decided to use digital stamp ‘birds in my hair’ from ‘a day for daisies’. I love this image and wanted to use it on my card for a long time.

I colored the image with copics and grey promarker and embelished the card with pattern paper and handmade flowers. You can tell I love making flowers :)

Hope you like my card.
Please link your projects here.
Take care :)
